ALMI Mission Trips

In traveling in over 150 countries it has been a privilege to meet so many unknown saints with untold stories. On occasion there are physical needs that can only be met through a group effort. ALMI schedules annually a building mission trip in order to provide life-changing experiences and provisions. It is good to be immersed in another culture and to see firsthand how Christ as our life works into that culture. The purpose of the ALMI mission trips is threefold: the fellowship among the team, the fellowship with the indigenous peoples, and leaving behind something tangible and functional. There is room for everybody, since tasks include cooking, painting, building, preaching, leading small groups, doctoring, nursing, and more. The cost of the trips is reasonable since we will be living as the people live. You might find yourself, as we have in the past, sleeping in a tent with six inches of rain running through it and no flush toilets, but you will leave with more blessings than you brought. Each person traveling is asked to donate toward the building materials as well as pay for his own airfare, food, lodging, and transportation.
